The Platform is your friend...
Hello, hello! I hope you're already gearing up for NWAFW because I know I sure am. With it being less than two months away, you've absolutely gotta start looking in that shoe closet of yours. Nothing to wear? Oh, sure you do! But, if you're like many people who've never attended a "fashion week," you have no idea what to wear on those pretty little feet. So, here I am to save your week (ahem, and your feet, perhaps)!
Obvi I'm a heels girl through and through so I pretty much learned the hard way during my first NY Fashion Week (ouch). While you won't be covering quite the amount of blocks, you'll be doing plenty of standing, so you've gotta make sure your feet are plenty comfy. But, there's no need to sacrifice the chicness level (please don't, in fact).
How to survive?
1. Use Foot Petals. I've never survived a fashion week without them, frankly. And I don't wanna find out what my feet would feel like without them. Cushioned feet are so "in," trust me.
Don't know what "Foot Petals" are? Watch this video below...2. Opt for a stacked heel, or at least a shoe with a decent platform. The platform is your FRIEND.
3. Bring along a pair of ballet flats in your (large) purse. This tip alone is major - it's amazing how handy these are just when you need them.
4. Now is not the time for new shoes. Drag out those oldies, but goodies and you won't regret it later.
5. Stock up on BAND-AIDs (and remember to bring extras). There's a new "Friction Block" stick that actually reduces pesky rubbing.
